Urgent consult (outpatient) at Victoria Hospital: Dr. Charles Chamberlaine - great preceptor - very calm; does as much teaching as able when seeing pts; very supportive - a lot of pathologies seen - rotation is great for learning about psych meds and when to refer as a GP - days can be stressful with many consults + f/u (staff has his private clinics' f/u seen at Vic as well) - all consults need to be dictated - only 2-3 days of call over the month: good experience - minimal teaching outside of clinic, otherwise. No rounds or scheduled teaching organized
